We are very lucky to have a good medical practice in Lostwithiel, myself and my wife have had serious health problems that have been dealt with by the practice and passed on to the relevant specialists with urgency.All the staff doctors and nurses have been great | |||||||

Our family have had a number of extremely positive experiences at the surgery and the most recent was an accurate diagnosis of a condition affecting my toddler who had unfortunately been misdiagnosed in a local out-of-hours service and mis-prescribed a long dose of antibiotics which were totally unnecessary.
The doctors at Lostwithiel Surgery have consistently been hugely helpful at seeing us at times without an appointment and on multiple occasions if necessary and have always treated us with respect as well as taking a great deal of care to be accurate and informative during appointments. The surgery is very nice and clean, the staff are polite and friendly and it was easy to get an appointment I've seen many different doctors at the surgery overy the years and found them to be very accomodating and informed. However, I've had many problems with one Doctor. The Doctor doesn't seemed to understand mental heatlh problems. When I leave after meeting with this GP I have more questions than answers. So if going here just be careful about who you see, otherwise it is a really great GP.
