This is my local surgery that I always use. Since turning 18 this is the first time I have been on my own. I came to the surgery for a very serious reason and when I walked in I was made to feel stupid and like my needs weren't important. I had never seen the new check in system and I did not notice when I walked in. The receptionist must have just finished her shift because she was standing in the waiting room right in the walkway having a conversation with a patient which wasn't very professional. I then walked past and she said behind my back to the patient. "Look someone being stupid and walking right past the check in." I found this to be very rude and unprofessional. I was made to feel bad for a little mistake in a place that should make you feel welcome. | |||||||

Quay Lane Surgery is an excellent surgery. Professional and caring Doctors, friendly and accommodating reception staff, efficient friendly pharmacy, Lovely cheerful nurses. Highly recommend this surgery, it has a relaxing family orientated atmosphere, always a warm, caring and professional welcome. | |||||||

I have been a patient of three different doctors practices in my life and this is by far the best. It is common to be able to see a doctor on the same day if you call early, or if not the next day. All the medical staff are top drawer, and the dispensary and reception staff are very good. | |||||||
