Another example of the staff at this surgery going the extra step to make a difference in patient care. Despite being just after hours, the team sorted out a last minute dispensing prescription needed by my son. Thank you

I am not normally a review kind of person, but just reflecting on the surgery today, after my mother in law was seen so quickly this afternoon after experiencing some problems(whilst only visiting us). She was seen within an hour after calling and treated beautifully. she couldn’t praise the surgery and the doctor enough! And it got me thinking that since we moved to fownhope surgery it feels like we’ve moved somewhere where we are given private healthcare. Definitely worth a fabulous review. I’m just blown away by each member of staff every time I call, or have to visit the surgery, and I wanted to thank each of them from the bottom of our hearts. We are so grateful for fownhope medical centre. Professional, friendly, treating every person with so much attention and care

We feel very lucky to have belonged to Fownhope Medical Centre since it was founded. I find new technology rather difficult to cope with but the Receptionists have been very understanding. My husband and I are lucky in that we are both pretty healthy for our age,and have not needed frequent GP intervention. We are aware how difficult appointments were during Covid,but one way or another our problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We know that if it is not an emergency and we wish to see a particular GP we should have to wait. It is very reassuring to know our family and personal medical history is in good hands. I would particularly like to commend Dr Kippax and Dr Wood who have mostly been our family GPs. We are delighted that our surgery seemed to be one of the first to dealt with the Covid vaccination programmes. Sincerely (Mrs) Wendy Haigh
