For an inner city GP practice the waiting times aren't too bad. All 3 of the different GPs I've seen were very good, except for one locum GP that seemed rushed. All the nurses very goof too.

I have not had the best experience with this medical practice. I wish the doctors had listening to me more carefully. In my opinion doctors seem to struggle with patients mental health issues. When I presented with physical problems, the GP's appear to be clearer how they might treat me. I wonder if, generally speaking, more training needs to be undertaken by GP and mental health issues. Another problem is the long waiting time for an appointment. I have had 3 experiences when a nurse did not use gloves when taking blood. I think it is not acceptable.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a satisfactory experience when visiting our Practice. Please be assured that our GPs take mental health issues as seriously as other health issues, we would recommend that you continue to consult with them over any concerns you have so that we can address them appropriately. Demand for appointments can be at times very high but please note that you can ask to speak to our Access Doctor every morning and afternoon, please call our Practice and leave your name and telephone number and you will receive a call back the Access Doctor. For more information please see our website at http://www.savillemed.co.uk/appointments.php Thank you for also raising concern over the wearing of gloves when a blood sample was being taken. Staff have been reminded of the importance of doing so. If you wish to discuss any of these issues please contact the Practice and leave a message and we will call you back.
