Awful service for anyone who is vulnerable or needs help with Cancer care. Reception staff are unpleasant, they write wrong reviews of why you’ve been to see them. Absolutely no care for the patient. They are happy to forget you unlike other surgeries. Surely they go on courses to help vulnerable people? If you’ve got a cold you might be okay but if you have more complex conditions go to somebody who knows what they are doing. I guess they sleep well at night while people like myself are up all night worried about the service they receive. The complaints system is a joke, not even a response to say they have received a complaint. I guess it’s a basic surgery but not for one who has complex needs or slight mental illnesses, I’m very disappointed as this surgery was recommended to myself and it’s turned out to be like a 60’s comedy show. I’m now looking to find a compitant Doctors Surgery. When you fight daily for your life with high grade cancer don’t chose a low grade GP. They need retrainment for modern day care and to stop be like a Carry On Doctors’s comedy film.

I have no complaints about any of the doctors I have seen but the same can't be said about the awful rude receptionists it's a disgrace they think they have the power to speak to another human being in the manner they do.I rang to speak to a doctor and was told in no uncertain terms I could and when I asked what I was supposed to do was hung up on I've changed two of my children from this surgery and plan to change the whole family I really can't believe that that are doing a job in public relations.it's bad enough you have to discuss your problems in front of a crowded waiting room without being made also to feel like a burden that is when you can eventually get through disgraceful

It is nearly impossibly to get an appointment here - I work full time so the opening hours are not convenient but I accept if I want an appt I have to take off work. As an example I phoned for an appt on Tuesday of this week (15/05/18). Firstly the phone system wasn't working correctly from 8am until approx 8.15am, it would go through to answer message but then cut off. When I finally got through I was 'number 10 in the queue' and was finally put through at 0829 to be told all the apps for doctors and nurses that day had been filled and there were no pre-bookable ones. How I am meant to get an appt here. It was the same situation the day before when again all apps had apparently been filled by 0830 - as a patient and let's face it a customer of this surgery there is something fundamentally wrong with this system. The very polite receptionist sounded as frustrated with the system as I was. I have tried to get in contact with the practice manager to discuss this but he appears to work hours that I can only dream of and as a result is not contactable. On the previous occasions I have been able to get an appt the medical staff are extremely helpful but are being let down by systems and processes.
