Had my booster jab at this pharmacy. Shocked that the man giving jab wasn't wearing a face mask or gloves. He said he has a rash! Didn't use a medical wipe before injecting. Used a hard piece of paper tissue to wipe blood from my arm after jab. This should be a IM injection not IV. Vaccination room was a cupboard with no windows, therefore no ventilation. I find it hard to believe he was qualified to give vaccinations. The whole set up doesn't comply with any covid quidance for prevention and control of covid infection. No social distancing, no face masks, no ventilation. Doubt the hygiene standards were even considered. The vaccination waiting area is next to post office and the queuing people on one side and the chemist counter on the other. People were standing queuing for a vaccine, and only 4 chairs very close together in the waiting area. None of the staff wearing masks. Many customers not wearing masks. No where to wait after having vaccine incase of adverse reaction. Given the number of people this vaccinator (man) will see in a day/week the chances of him contracting and passing on the covid virus is very high, as he's not wearing a mask or gloves. Plus there is no ventilation at all in the very small room (cupboard), which is used to deliver the vaccine.
