FIrstly, I thought the time it took to do prescriptions was a clever ploy from Tesco's to make you spend more money in there, however, it appears not. It takes a ridiculously long time to be served, once you are you will be told that your one item prescription will take 15-20 minutes to be made up, so come back. You accept. You confirm this time, and check whether this will really be the case, they say yes. Tesco's ploy works, and you return a good half hour later, you queue again, and find out that they have none or perhaps only one or two of what you've been waiting for, and that you'll have to return and queue for another half an hour for tomorrow or the day after depending on how optimistic the staff member you're presented with is feeling.

Always painfully slow and very odd customer service style. Think androids not humans. Allow a couple of hours and be prepared to feel as though you have asked for something outrageous rather than simply picking up a prescription.

Pharmacist took ages examining my prescription and the person didn’t have the slightest clue what one of the items was. Took ages to bag up items. Despite a long queue of people waiting, the speed of service was excruciatingly slow.
