This pharmacy has gone downhill over the last few years with wait times (before seeing the pharmasist) in the 10s of minutes. Today there was a queue of 30 minutes only to be told that my repeat prescription, due 2 days previously, was not yet ready, but if I would be prepared to wait another 40 minutes, they would have it ready or I could come back later in the day. I am now looking at alternate methods of getting my prescription. |

The staff seem to be working extremely hard but the service is extremely poor. Wait times of 30 mins is the norm, and waiting in the rain is no fun! We used to use Hey Pharmacist and will be returning to this service. |

We normally order our meds online, as in the past, repeat prescriptions posted through letterbox, are not ready even after the 5 day wait period; perhaps it's now longer? Can see nothing on this new design website for the practice, advising of the wait time. At least ordering online, we have an electronic record of date the medications were ordered. Too often however, even when the mandatory waiting period has elapsed, the prescribed meds cannot be found, and more time then has to be wasted whilst various staff search the shelves for your paper bag, with the meds in. This happens to me and neighbours in our village regularly. Finally, perhaps because of understaffing or inefficiency (or both) there are, too often very long waits to get served. 25 minutes would not be unusual, with first thing on Monday mornings being a bad time to go in. It's no wonder on line dispensers are gaining favour as they have to be efficient to compete in the marketplace. Original Comment Report... |
