Tried all the extensions on the phone including the pharmacy, no one picked up the phone, one of the options after pressing five is press 4, a women’s voice said it didn’t recognise it, now I have been told I am being transferred to general enquiries, where I am told the mailbox is full. Boots need a complete shake up, the customer service is appalling. Will buy my item elsewhere.

I have difficulty walking and cannot stand in a queue for for an extended period of time. During the pandemic I was advised that I am Clinically Extremely Vulnerable and for these reasons last August I paid to have my prescription delivered. To date I have received an appalling service. I have never received a text to arrange a convenient time for delivery (as advertised on Boots website). I’ve had to phone them every month and like others I can never get an answer on the phone. My prescriptions are sent electronically on the same day that I order from my GP Practice. What I would like to know is why does it then take Boots 2 weeks to dispense and deliver my prescription?

I personally cannot collect my monthly prescription so my husband has to. He can’t stand for very long these days as he ages, he always complains about the long queues, it never used to be like this! Boots used to be the best Pharmacy, what has happened?
