A big thank you to the pharmacist who again went that extra mile in resolving a prescription issue for me today, Thursday, 13th April 2017. Excellent customer service as always.

400 miles from home, had to stay two weeks longer than intended, so ran out of medication for daily injection. Visited main Taunton outlet of a national well known chemist/pharmacy which has something to do with what you can wear on your feet. Totally unhelpful, couldn't really care less attitude, - even if they had fax there and then from my doctors surgery they didn't have the item in stock and certainly would not be able to get any that day....., totally negative. Walked five minutes away to Superdrug, it was as if I was in a different parallel world, Pharmacist said that they did not stock the medication either, but they would order there and then to see if they could get it delivered that day and we could sort the prescription out later, after they confirmed that they could get the meds. They came back after making the call and said the meds would be available in three hours and provided me with the necessary information for my surgery to get the prescription across. Called back three hours later to pick up the medication. Total success, pharmacist said surgery had done their bit and added that even if they had not got the prescription across, they would have ensured that I had an emergency supply. Superb service well above what my expectation was, this person is a gem, and an example to anyone in their chosen profession, and well done Superdrug for employing such a helpful person who obviously enjoys doing their job and is prepared to go that extra mile.
