Called at Headingley pharmacist for my repeat prescription following having received a text that it was ready for collection, and once again they were unable to find it, as happens every time. First, they can’t find me on their ‘system’ and as per usual I have to repeat my name, then address and eventually date of birth. Once they have eventually found me on the computer, they start looking form my tablets and still can’t find these, and tell me that it is not ready, and I have to remind them that they sent me a text three days earlier, upon they start looking in a different draw. When I suggest to sort out their system as this happens every time and advise them to look under the first letter of my surname, which is a different draw, the pharmacist tells me the obvious ‘I you don’t like the service you can always go to another pharmacy’ which is not helpful. Then he blames the staff for placing it the wrong draw, when he eventually finds it in the draw I initially suggested he looks in. All this because the pharmacy is unable to set up a consistent system, their staff do not know their alphabet, or they are xenophobes (dislike of anything foreign). Come on Headingley Pharmacy, you are there to serve the community and can do better.
