About Trigger Finger Surgery

A trigger finger is a condition in which the finger or the thumb clicks or lock towards the palm due to a tendon nodule that gets stuck in the tendon sheath. The most common symptoms are:

Finger stiffness commonly felt in the morning A popping/clicking sensation while moving your finger Tenderness or a lump (nodule) at the base of the affected finger Finger catching/locking in a bent position, which can suddenly pop straight Finger locking in a bent position and preventing you from straightening If your finger is locked, you might need to perform some exercise to release it before the surgery.
