I had a hip operation the beginning of this year. The care I received was first rate from the surgeon, Nurses, Physio, catering, cleaners and room. The only disappointing part of the whole experience, was on the day I was discharged. Getting equipment and tablets to come home, was no problem. But trying to get the discharge letter took nearly 5 hours, with me keep asking and asking for it. When I left the hospital their was no nurse to see me out of the hospital. | |||||||

Email s not drawn to the attention of the recipient. No answer to the consultant s secretary extension. Wrong email confirmation of a telephone appointment causing confusion Slow response due to letter s written and typed by secretary. This is 2023 !! | |||||||

The surgeon cannot be blamed for my review. The surgery went well. The after care however was sloppy. | |||||||
