Came in today and was really annoyed by a member of staff working in pharmacy.
Came into collect my prescription (which was ready in timely fashion!) and the incorrect amount had been taken by the person I dealt with previously. I hadn't realised and the lovely pharmacist apologised and said they needed to take more for prescription. The staff member (who I was not dealing with) muttered that customers put in wrong amount into card machine so it could be that.
The pharmacist gave me a piece of paper to fill out for my repeats and went into back to get something. The staff member came up asking was everything alright. I asked them a question about where to put in information and how it worked and they snapped back saying I needed to give pharmacist a chance to come back and explain.
I left in a rush and had forgotten my Lidls shopping bag at my feet, came back less than 5mins and the staff member proceeded to lecture me on how I shouldn't leave my shopping unattended.
My problem with this person was their manner. They came across short tempered and condescending. I do not disagree about it being inappropriate to have forgotten my bag, but I do have a problem with how they communicate with customers. |
