Ordered and paid for three pairs of glasses at Kendal branch on 07/04/18 and arranged to collect them from another branch near to my place of work. Having heard nothing at all three weeks later when I was told the glasses would be ready in a week I rang that other branch who rang me back promptly leaving a message that Kendal would send them the glasses by courier next week but no explanation nor apology. Therefore rang Kendal and spoke to a woman who said she was in a call centre and not the store. She did apologise and when pressed for an explanation said that she presumed a mistake had been made as the glasses were sitting in a cupboard at the store.
