First visited A J Bass Opticians in Downton on a personal recommendation when I moved to the area a number of years ago. I was delighted on that first occasion to receive a friendly warm welcome and all details were dealt with in a thoroughly professional manner. Next I met my Optician who came and shook my hand, took me through to the examination room and conducted the most thorough eye test I have ever had! Since that first occasion I have returned each year and have always found the service and quality to be Ffive star (how many businesses can we say that about these days?). It is a superb independent opticians and one which I have no hesitation in recommending.
