By: Joseph C. Rating:.. Mar 4 2018 I came here after being referred by my GP. I was seen very quickly and the examination was very thorough with the issue being found quickly and explained in great detail. A refreshing experience with really friendly staff. I definitely recommend.

They have always been considerate and do not try to sell me new lenses or frames if they are not needed. Last year I called in with a pain in my left eye straight from the doctor, and the excellent new young optician spotted the problem as a dry eye and advised me on treatment.It appears that now that I am 70 this is not uncommon. Last month I returned for a full eye test and as a result had new lenses. I wanted glass lenses, not plastic. They took a week to come and were fitted into my old frames whilst I waited which took less than 15 minutes. As always, first class service.
