The opticians are excellent but the business side of the purchase left me with a very nasty taste. Once the examination was completed there was an expectation that I would purchase from them and I felt pressured. There was very little volunteered explanation. I had to keep asking questions. There is also an expectation that the customer should pay the full price upfront. A business expectation with which I am very uncomfortable. If they don't trust me why should I trust them, and why should I fund their purchase of the lens, frame and work.
