Rude management - unhelpfull ignorant staff
I took my daughters glasses back into the store for a repair or replacement and was told that i had not brought them from that or any other asda opticians as the codes did not match what they had on thier system - even though i had the reciept!
I was basicaly told to go away and called a liar by the 'manager' and was also told that i could not apply for another optical voucher for 2 years!! I am still furious but determined to fight this till the end - which i hope is not to long as my daughter can't see very much at all. |

I went to Asda, Hollingbury, with a very recent prescription from another Optician for some new glasses. It followed that this prescription was incorrect, and the other optician who issued the prescription denied any liability. Asda were amazing about all this. They undertook to replace everything at no additional cost to me, from retesting to refitting. David redid my eye test, remeasuring and recalculating all the necessary elements. James then reordered new lenses for both pairs of glasses. Kerri fitted and adjusted these new glasses when I went to collect. All three worked professionally and thoroughly, had excellent customer service and made the whole experience smooth, calm and comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend Asda, Hollingbury in Brighton, the team is excellent, polite and know what they are doing. They will make sure your glasses fit, help you choose your frames, have the correct lenses, and finally have frames to suit including designer frames that are all affordable. |
