I ordered prescription glasses on the 31/05/2017 and paid in full. Was informed that it will be ready in 10 days time which was on Saturday the 10th.I completely forgot about the appointment.Phoned the 14th and was put through to the manager.I asked them why did they not contact me to remind me about the appointment? The manager informed me that is not how they do business.I then asked them why did they not contact me when I did not turn up for the appointment. The manager started getting annoyed and said they do not do that and it is my duty to contact them.I brought it under their attention that they have a duty of care towards their clients/patients seeing that I have paid in full and that my eyes are important to me. The manager kept on reminding me that they are a business and do not have the time to waste on contacting clients?I was stunned the way they reasoned.Obviously they thought I will forget about the glasses and then pocket my money?Will I do business with them again? |
