    Being attached to the medical centre, I tend to use this pharmacy on a regular basis and find in general the staff interfere too much. Despite the majority of staff being simply assistants behind a chemist counter, they appear to think they know better than the doctor at times, interfering with prescriptions (especially repeat) which have already been discussed and prescribed by the GP himself. Given the choice I would rather go somewhere else!

    I am very sorry if you were dissatisfied with the service you received from our pharmacy. It is difficult to comment without more information but I would be happy for you to contact me to discuss the matter. The pharmacy staff have completed the appropriate training (as Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Dispensers) and have a responsibility to ensure that our customers receive appropriate advice when collecting or purchasing medication. All patients are able to take their prescription to the pharmacy of their choice for dispensing. It is also possible to nominate your preferred pharmacy so that prescriptions can be sent electronically by your Medical Practice. Penny Dando

    I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the fantastic staff at the pharmacy. I have had to visit it on numerous occasions over the past eighteen months and have always been treated with dignity and genuine compassion. I don't know of any other pharmacies that are so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend its services - this is an exceptional group of lovely people!
