Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

As others have found, the staff are appallingly rude. They can’t be bothered to speak to customers, glare at them if they’re not ignoring them. They told me they didn’t have a prescription they’d received 5 days before, but that was the least of my problem with their egregious behaviour. Won’t be going in there again.

The pharmacy is filthy dirty, the shelves are thick with dust, the floor is filthy and there are random items lying around in various areas of the shop. They do not have a cleaner and the manager states that the staff are too busy to clean. This is a clinical area and if the staff don’t have time to clean what else is being neglected when it comes to infection prevention and control as well as health and safety? It needs a complete overhaul and deep clean. They need more staff to cope with their workload as this is a very busy pharmacy.

Rude staff and prescriptions never ready.
Why on earth do they shut at lunchtime - its so old fashioned. Surely they can stagger their lunches like everyone else. Come on for gods sake - provide a proper and professional service!!
