We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

I would like to thank the staff of Well Pharmacy, Whaley Bridge, High Peak, Derbyshire, for providing a wonderful level of service this afternoon.
My elderly mother informed me late on Friday afternoon that her regular prescribed tablets had run out and her next delivery had not arrived.
I telephoned the pharmacy to enquire whether her prescription was there and was there any chance it could be delivered.
The prescription was there but, unfortunately, their driver had already finished so I arranged to drive over myself the following day (120 mile round trip).
Within 30 minutes, my mum phoned and told me that her medication had been delivered.
I phoned the pharmacy and thanked them and they have even arranged to obtain another missing prescription from the GP's surgery by fax on Monday and deliver it.
This is a wonderful level of service that goes above and beyond what could reasonably be expected.
You should be proud of the staff at Well Pharmacy, Whaley Bridge. Original Comment Report...
