I stopped using this pharmacy as their repeat medication service is appalling. They require the patient to call 2 days in advance of when the medication is due to be dispensed in order to "remind" them about it. As if that wasn't bad enough, it's an absolute nightmare getting through to them as their phone line is constantly busy. When I discussed this with a member of staff I was told that if I was unable to get through on the telephone then I would need to go in person and request my medication 2 days prior to picking it up. I suggested they set up an online request form or have an email address to make it easier but I was faced with a blank expression. I have since changed pharmacy to a more reputable name and am glad to say that they operate in a much more customer friendly way, instead of me reminding them they send me a text message reminder every month letting me know that my medication is available for collection. I don't want others to go through the same stress as me, so just wanted to take this opportunity to say think about this before choosing your disgnated pharmacy for repeat prescriptions. |

Met a lovely Pharmacistat at Lidgett Street chemist in Lindley, Huddersfield. The Pharmacist came out smiling friendly and approachable and I asked him about a mole on my leg and he assured me everything was fine.
Since the previous Pharmacist left this chemist this is the first Pharmacist that has been so approachable and friendly and I hope that he will become permanent as some others that have been working here have left alot to be desired and you did not feel able to talk to them if you had a problem. |

I have used this pharmacy before, and received a good service. Today the pharmacist on duty was extremely rude to me, and tried to blame me when they made the wrong prescription (it was the mistake of the very polite member of staff who initially served me. I understand that mistakes are made, and wouldn't have minded waiting for it to be sorted out). I won't be going back. The last thing you need when you are unwell and worried is to be confronted by poor service and bad manners. Will also be seeking out the complaints procedure. |
