The medications prescribed by my GP had no effect. Been suffering for month. When I mentioned it to a member of staff, she suggested an over the counter medicine which relieved my suffering within 48 hours and I have been pain free since.

In late November I had an altercation with a broken bottle, trying to put it into the bottle bank. The next thing I knew was I had a great gash on my thumb and a lot of blood. What to do? Thankfully, Eye Pharmacy was only 100 yards away and even better the Manager was there. They turned out to be a ministering angel .... washed the wound, dressed it with lots of steri strips, gave me hot sweet tea and 40 minutes later I left full of gratitude. When I took it to the doctor's surgery, two days later (it had happened at the weekend), the nurse said what a 'perfect' job had been done. And, now, two weeks later, I have a very neat healing scar. The manager had been both kind and efficient and I remain very grateful. That apart, the pharmacy is excellent with medicines and lots of goodies like cosmetics and Christmas gifts, all keenly priced.

They are very helpful, lovely people. The staff know what they are doing and how to do it, which makes you want to return to the pharmacy.
