Having just waited 15 mins in the queue which is good for them. To be told my prescriptions wont be in till the following day! 1 item was ordered 9 days ago at my surgery. So I called them and my prescription from last week and this week have gone to Rowlands. Please dont lie to customers. I work for the NHS and have tried to be understanding and patienced but tonight I will be in terrible pain without my medication. They could of offered to give me some tabets to tie me over. But no they didnt! They need more staff and this has been the case for months. They need to care and look after their customers too. Really think they do not give a damn! So once I get these meds I wont be going back. Very disappointed in customer care! |

Does anybody ever answer the phone? A nNeighbour told me she had been in and staff wandering around and allowing phone to ring. It was a first class service when Elmhurst Road branch was open. Meadow Way has gradually deteriorated. I care for relative with advanced dementia and I cannot leave her alone. So difficult to get medication ordered. We are always running out. My relative is 94 and recently out of hospital. Hi |

Due to chronic conditions I have been a very regular user of the Meadow Way branch of Rowlands Pharmacy for over ten years. In that time, the service offered has steadily deteriorated from mediocre to unacceptable. The dispensing staff are unable to keep up with demand; it is necessary to give the pharmacy three days on average to dispense a prescription, The counter staff are constantly rude and very slow to respond to customers. The dispensing staff studiously ignore waiting customers even when long queues build up. The result is that the pharmacy is constantly overwhelmed. Possibly additional staff are needed, however, what is clearly lacking is any proper supervision of the staff already there. There is no-one in charge and no-one to complain to and it appears the staff can do as they please. Visiting this pharmacy is now an unpleasant and extremely stressful experience, to the point where I have decided to nominate a different pharmacy some distance away.
