Hancock and Ainsley has the feel of a traditional chemists combined with modern clinical pharmacy practice. The clinical advice is excellent, they bend over backwards on smooth processing of repeat prescriptions and all staff are sensitive to patients. They are careful about confidentiality. The shop is immaculately clean and whenever we have been poorly they are always helpful and effective. | ||||||

Twice in the past 2 months they have made mistakes with my medication. The last error was unacceptable. Everyone makes mistakes however in this situation and profession they cant afford mistakes. Prescribing the wrong amounts to people could have potentialky fatal consequences. Hancock & Ainsley Pharmacy takes patient safety very seriously. Over the last 10 years we have invested tens of thousands of pounds in increasing the size of the dispensary, installing a dispensing robot and training an accredited checking technician. In our most recent NHS patient questionnaire 99% of customers rated the staff overall as being good or excellent. | ||||||
