We've made it our mission to take the hassle out of prescriptions. To do this, we're changing how we work so that we can give you more choice in how you get your medicines.
Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

I have been trying to phone all day and not once has the phone been answered, whilst I appreciate they are busy I am sure all the staff are not occupied all the time, I would therefore ask the question why after at least a dozen calls there has been no answer at all, I find this very frustrating as my medication is running ou

An incorrect item was dispensed, and after a telephone call it was agreed they would order the correct item, as per the Prescription. After six days the item had not been reordered. I was then asked to take to the Pharmacy a correct item and an incorrect item. (i.e We don’t believe you) They are the ones that made the mistake, and yet they expect me to do all the running around. It is not what I would consider to be good customer relations. After in excess of five years a change of Pharmacy is near.

After my third visit this week of trying to get my prescription, I feel upset and totally let down. The staff fob you off and conflicting messages I know are untrue as they have had my prescription since Monday, when I visited them twice.I then went back on Wednesday knowing it should have been ready as this was the afternoon to be told the prescription only arrived that day( total lie), they said I would have to come back in 4 hours which I was unable to do so left and went today(Thursday)to be told the prescription only arrived that morning(total lie) and wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow after 14.30 which is Christmas Eve ! They also said my husbands prescription would not be ready until tomorrow as well and I know they had this since Wednesday. The staff are not wearing masks and the Perspex has. A massive gap so if they had COVID we could easily get it as well. This is not the first time I have had problems with this Pharmacy in Crownhill Plymouth, and on my last visit the assistant to the pharmacist accused me of giving her “ backlash” yet I was merely asking for my tablets. So fed up I have changed to Boots and dread going back tomorrow to be confronted by very rude and unhelpful staff.
