Have tried to get through to this branch all day , after a few rings this goes straight through to a fax line. Have had a trace put on the line and apparently the phone had a switch that can turn over to fax only do they do not need to answer. - Phoned boots service line. Got through to a chap working from home , proudly advertising the fact he was also looking after his two young children which is why I kept having to repeat myself as they were making slot of noise in the background! Service line if anyone wants even more poor service 0345 125 1662. I explained the situation and the response is that phones will not be answered if there are not enough staff to cover. I tried to explain that it was not a case of not answering the phone , but the phone had been deliberately switched off( over to fax function) all day . Upshot the guy didn’t seem that interested and said he will send them an email but there is a wait time for responses. Seeing as it was a post operative drug that urgently needs to be taken today - not sure this will happen. Revoke the licence /contract get a company in that wants to run a business and support a community.

No customers care never ask questions when buying medication just give it to you rude staff talk about customers when leaving the shop

The staff seem like they're on a go slow every day. There is always a long queue but the staff don't appear to be at all bothered about keeping people waiting. Perhaps it needs some new staff who have a good understanding of customer service!
