I telephoned on a Sunday morning from 200 miles away concerned my elderly mother had used her asthma medication more frequently and had run out before repeat prescription was due. It was not an emergency but could have become one if my mother had another attack. The on call pharmacist was so very helpful and kind. To cut a long story short, another prescription was processed immediately and the pharmacist also recommended Mother was seen by duty doctor. It has now transpired that a new, and significant, diagnosis has been made. I am very grateful for this expert care and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I work in the health service myself and I know this is the pharmacists role but do feel she dealt with me extremely professionally and efficiently. Thank you!
