As the previous reviewer stated occasionally the wait can be a little long but this is mainly if you go as school has just started or finished, (customers on the school run). Most importantly the staff are lovely, friendly and helpful Reply from LloydsPharmacy Wed, 24 Jul 2019 09:45:25 +0100 Hi there It's great to read that you have such a pleasant experience when visiting our pharmacy and thank you for taking the time to share this. I will ensure your feedback is passed on to the Regional Management and the Pharmacy Team. Thanks again and have a great day! Jas |

This used to be a well run pharmacy. However over the last three months it has descended into a rather chaotic state. Queues start at the door and while you slowly progress nearer the counter you see and hear the frustration and sometimes anger of the patients as they are told that their prescriptions are not ready or they find that all the items they expected have not been given to them. I really pity the staff (now reduced in number) as they try to be nice and explain that staff are off ill, on holiday or just have left. But this has been going on for three months and things are just deteriorating further. You wind your way to the top of the queue and ask for your prescription. They search through the paper dockets. Nothing. They go to one of the computer terminals and your heart sinks. It has not been downloaded yet and the waiting time is half an hour - one occasion that half an hour turned into a full hour. So you need the drugs and decide to wait. There are just two chairs so you will have to stand. Fifteen minutes later your name is called. You rejoice at such a short wait. Only fifteen minutes!. Then you see the look on the assistants face. The item you want is not in stock. It will probably be in tomorrow. Am I well enough to put myself through this again?
The staff that remain are really nice and helpful, in spite of what they are being put through. Imagine waking up in the morning and having to face disgruntled patients all day. You cannot blame those that have left but those that remain are being very badly let down by their company and they deserve better. The other pharmacies nearby must be dancing around their tills with all the Lloyds defectors that are increasingly arriving through their doors. Reply from LloydsPharmacy Tue, 06 Nov 2018 12:39:20 Z Hi there Thanks for taking the time to post your review. I am very sorry for the disappointing service and wait times you've experienced when visiting our pharmacy. I can assure you this isn't the level of service we expect for our customers and I do apologise. I will ensure your feedback is recorded and shared with the Area Manager. Your feedback is very important to us as this helps us to identify which areas we need to focus on improving. I apologise again. Jas |
