I've been to this pharmacy numerous times and my experience is always the same and so I will no longer be wasting my time using them. I went in at 5.30pm once and they claimed that my prescription had not been sent down to them so I went back to reception to ask about it and they said the chemist received my prescription at 2pm. When I went back back down the woman at the counter basically called me thick and said she didn't understand what I had said because I worded it wrong. On my most recent visit I went straight to the chemist after seeing the doctor for the chemist to tell me they didn't physically have the pills I have been prescribed and so I have to go elsewhere. Most of the staff are rude and the waiting times are ridiculous. | ||||||

Long story short I was late to picking up my prescription: I was due to arrive by train in Darwen at 17:20 which would have given me an hour to collect my prescription. But the train was delayed, then too full to let me board. The next train was cancelled. Then the next one, which should have allowed me 10 minutes to get my prescription, was also delayed. Two panicky phone calls later, a lovely lady and gentleman, particularly the gentleman, on the end of the phone helped me to find a way to pick up my prescription at a different pharmacy. This was essential as I am prescribed Sertraline for mental health problems. Leaving me without it for too long could have had bad consequences. I don’t know the name of the staff working today, but I owe them a lot. | ||||||
