• The pharmacy never have all the items in stock
• The pharmacy do not check two patient identifiers before dispensing prescriptions.
• Prescriptions are never ready; no matter how long you leave it before collection
• It requires the patient to check every single item every single time
• Items have been completely missed & not dispensed
• No improvements even after complaining, and in fact, it gets worse.
• Avoid and go elsewhere if you can
This is the second ‘Well Pharmacy’ we have used & they were both as bad as each other so it’s clearly endemic across the brand rather than an isolated incident with one branch.
Everything is about making money, not doing things 'right' or providing 'customer/patient care'. I do not believe they are keeping me ‘Well’ if anything my mental health suffers because they are so inefficient and incompetent and I have to worry about whether I will get my medication when I need it. Please be assured we take this feedback very seriously, I have sent your comments to the Regional Manager (RDM) who is responsible for pharmacies in this area to investigate. I will ask the RDM to give a full response to all the concerns that you have raised and also highlight that this is not the only Well branch that have fallen short of expectations in the area. We have procedures in place to ensure prescriptions are processed correctly, and that any missing items are chased up if the branch are responsible for ordering. If patients order themselves, it can be difficult to ensure all items have come across as they do not know what to expect. If the pharmacy order prescriptions on a patients behalf, they should be following process to make sure all items are ready for collection. We do not expect any patients to worry about when their prescriptions will arrive, the branch should be able to offer reassurance that it will be ready for collection on the agreed date.
