We've made it our mission to take the hassle out of prescriptions. To do this, we're changing how we work so that we can give you more choice in how you get your medicines.
Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

This pharmacy is the worst one I have ever had to use. That includes St Budeaux Square pharmacy, Trelawney Ham pharmacy,
Whitleigh Green, Lower Compton Road and Ernesettle pharmacy. All of these are here in Plymouth and I have used them all.
Their latest trick is putting the phone on engaged while you are ringing, so you can't get through. Courtesy depends on who
You get to speak to, Adele is very good and some others, but a section of them are terse and grudging in their help. I have
Been with this pharmacy for nearly 4 years and it has not improved any. As I live Alone and have several health problems I have
To deal with them on a regular basis. I always know when there's been a staff change because they leave out some of my
Medication and I have to ring and ask them for it. Whoever is telling the staff that don't have to answer the phone, should be
Dismissed as that is extremely poor customer service. If the firm checks their records, they will find I have complained about them
Before. In 2020 or 2021 but, however, no change.

I think anonymous had an unlucky and probably one-off experience. I find the staff considerate and capable. Original Comment Report...

Heavily dependent on prescriptions to manage chronic pain and a Functional Neurological Disorder, I am a frequent visitor to the Well Pharmacy in Stoke and have always found the staff to be friendly, cheery, helpful, well informed, and courteous. Furthermore, through utilising the Stoke Surgery online prescription service, I have always found my prescriptions ready to collect, with the minimum of fuss. I consider that the proximity and liaison between the Pharmacy and the Surgery is very effective and greatly beneficial to the population of Stoke and the surrounding area, and the Pharmacy serves that community well.
