Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.

We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

Aw come on you lot! Moan moan moan reviewers! I've been coming here for 18 years and would not grump and moan like previous reviewers. Yes it's small, yes it's busy but aren't all pharmacies the same? I order my repeat prescriptions with plenty of notice, so I pop in when it's not too busy and I normally get it virtually straight away. When I've been to the doctors as I am unexpectedly ill, well I normally wait longer, sometimes for up to 20 minutes but then they tell me there will be a long wait so I pop up to the coop or take a well earned moment to sit down or stand and have a time out of a busy life! So keep using this pharmacy, they're a lovely lot and it's nice and local as we are all guilty of moaning how the world is going fast passed and not so personal any more! For those of you who work there, I don't know you but you do a hard job and deal with some sick and miserable people...were not all like that...keep up the good work! And any would be visitors...it's a nice little pharmacy so don't be put off my the moaning murtles! And to the moaning murtles...life is way too short to go online, write a miserable review and be grumpy! And to us happy lot...spread the word because like this pharmacy, we're the ones doing good in the world :) Original Comment Report...

Where to start? Parking near the place is difficult enough but once you get in there if there is more than two people queued up then you're stuck halfway between in the warm or out in the cold. Several times now there has been miscommunication between the doctors and chemist. They've also gone to prescription-only for Lipotrim, so I've had to source elsewhere. If you need your prescription try to time it in between lunch hour and school run otherwise you'll be waiting upto 40 minutes for a prescription that has already been bagged up ready to go! The staff are ok, depends what kind of day they're having as to how you get treated. Oh and watch out for one member of staff, seemingly friendly at first but when you're there more than once a month they get quite personal asking questions about home/family/etc to be honest it's made me feel so uncomfortable that I hate going there to collect my prescription. It's a small chemist but extremely busy. Prescription waiting time is always long. I think due to the demand a larger building and more staff would deal with the problem as most of the staff are nice Original Comment Report...
