As soon as I walked in the door the eyes of staff followed me around like I was a criminal. They refused to sell me a test kit as the pharmasist wasn't there, this a generic shelf item with no medication in so I went to Boots, no probelms there. The management could take a page out of Boots' book on how to treat customers and run a store! They are for the most part, unfriendly, blunt and never smile. Avoid. |

I regularly use lloyds in thornbury to pick up a repeat prescription as the chemist as Berkeley is rarely open and i cannot make the hours there within the week. I am not sure why someone has put a petty review getting annoyed at anyone saying this chemist is slow. I have been using this chemist for 3 years , it is painfully slow with no reason to be. There are often enough staff but they all huddle behind the counter and never even acknowledge anyone waiting , a “we will be with you in a moment” is general courtesy everyone working in a shop should adhere to. the lady with her everyone should be organised review probably has a lovely non stressful life , most of us do not. We work long hours, have responsibilities and only, as one gentleman said, have saturdays to pick up prescriptions. To limit stress for staff and customers, employing staff who have the right interpersonal skills are key. If you are grumpy, rude, offhand and do not like people there are plenty of jobs where you can avoid people. I have to plan when to go to this pharmacy now and often stress and worry about it because if i go on a lunchtime i will probably be late back to work and if i go on a saturday it will be even more busy. They just need to speed it up, a lot. |

Went in to see if my prescription may have been ready today (Saturday) after ordering Thursday. Unfortunately due to my current situation of working full time and visiting a family member in hospital after work every day, Saturday is the only day I can collect my prescription (I can’t get back before they close during the week). I received a very stern message that it was too early and when I explained why I was checking today, it was clear the staff didn’t give a dam. Staff really need to be more understanding to customers too especially when it comes to dealing with medication - we are told to understand the position staff are in but what about us customers when we are just greeted with attitudes. |
