It is most gratifying to find a business where the staff make you feel as if they are pleased to see you and are looking forward to helping you. This has been true every time we have visited the Thornbury premises, and this such a pleasure. My wife and I had been handled badly by other pharmacies in Thornbury, first by Boots, then by Lloyds so, on advice from a bystander, we went to Cohens just hoping for better service, and that is what we have received. Sincere thanks to all the staff for their error-free services, and their cheerful and professional service over the 3 years we have been using them. | ||||||

Lovely staff go above & beyond to help.They put up with some very rude customers in a very polite way.I visit very often so I see a lot of the issues the staff are coping with.Thornbury lost another chemist but has had a huge influx of new people moving into the area.It seems that customers cant work this out & insult the girls trying desperatly to help them.I cant thank them enough for all the help & good service I have recieved over the last few years. This pharmacy has been struggling for a while with the recent closure of another pharmacy in town. They always seem to be busy with not enough staff, the two ladies who are always out the front are extremely helpful and polite, a couple of times my medications have not been ready but they get straight on with it. I use the automatic ordering system and it has failed before but instead of making excuses they admit when it’s their faults and will rectify it immediately. They have been shouted at rudely while I have been waiting and have remained professional throughout. I would recommend here to others but also be prepared to wait but if you need medication what’s a 10 minute wait? If it’s sensitive medicine your after everything is kept quiet and not shouted across the shop for everyone to hear (previous embarrassment happened) It’s a shame that not everyone understands how much pressure these ladies are under and that it is not their faults if a doctor prescribes something that it unfortunately unavailable.
