Every time I have been to this busy little chemist I’ve been treated with respect. We’ve shared humorous and informative conversation. Several members of staff have remembered my name despite I’ve only lived here a few months which considering the amount of customers they have is quite impressive. I have witnessed their interaction with other customers while waiting for meds and they’ve all been happy and helpful. I was a retail manager for 10 years so have some experience of what I’m talking about. If medication is out of stock it’s usually here by the next afternoon. I feel a valued customer which to me is important. Today I spent 10 no idea wiring to be served in the Grantham pharmacy. To the be served my pre ordered prescription which should have been ready yesterday couldn't be found. In mid searching somebody on their day off comes in and the assistant who is suppose to serving me is pre occupied and decides to stop and have a catch up with this person. Eventually their gossip is over the assistant decides to approach me and say they have to check it's in stock now. Right fair enough they go and look brings the stock back out and just leaves it on the side and begins to serve somebody else. In the mean time the actual pharmacist has now began their gossip with the other person who has a day off. Eventually after 30 minutes of my life stood in the smallest area watching locals come in and out in was so happy to be handed by prescription. No apology was given to me about my wait. I ended our time together and simply telling them take me off the list I'll order my own prescriptions and take them else where in the future.
