We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

Despite wall to wall staff in the back office, they often have just one person serving causing 20-30min waits even just to collect an online prescription. The back room staff just look blankly completely unconcerned about the growing queue of people which is extremely annoying. It is very poorly managed; they should take a look at how supermarkets open up extra tills when a backlog occurs. Another complaint is that if collecting an online prescription a few days late they date the reorder from the date of collection despite being asked not to which erodes the 4 weeks medication cycle and results in having to request a respeat prescription from the doctors. I have been with them for several years but I will now be taking my custom elsewhere as they appear incapable of improvement. Enough is enough. Original Comment Report...

Since moving into the new premises the service has got worse. My wife is frequently given the incorrect number of drugs that have been prescribed by her GP meaning several visits to the pharmacy to get all the drugs requested.The pharmacy also frequently runs out of her drugs despite being on a repeat prescription. Todays problem is that my wifes drugs were placed in two bags but the assistant only gave out one bag. On phoning the pharmacy she was told that the electronic request sent by her GP came as two seperate prescriptions which I find hard to believe and was further told that she would have to collect the remaining drugs as they could not deliver until tomorrow. The shop is almost empty of any goods and there is obviously a serious problem with staffing levels as the queue is often very long, the staff are frequently seen 'having a chat' at the back of the pharmacy dispensing area. I am now considering moving my custom to a different pharmacy. Original Comment Report...

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the service you have recieved and that your wife's prescription was not available to collect in a timely manor which resulted in you making extra journeys to the pharmacy.

Pharmacist was extremely helpful in providing an opinion on how my minor leg surgery stitches were doing; and was able to supply his suggested tea tree oil and extra dressings to keep it all clean. Very nice to be able to get walk-in advice in the village. Original Comment Report...
