My wife and I just called for our corvid booster jab and we were very impressed with the nice and friendly staff, it was all done in minutes and with a smile and caring attitude fabulous.

Great Staff friendly and helpful. The only Chemist who actually had my medication in stock when several other Chemists in Stanley had none, extremely polite and courteous delivery Driver as well. Let me try and explain. I am constantly in pain you see, even with the medication I take, walking is a struggle, I also have a heart condition which makes me short of breath and tired . I live about a mile and a half from the Chemists and not only does Taylors have my medication on time but they deliver as well. I have a carer who would get lost collecting my meds as even though she is a lovely person , has learning difficulties.( She gets confused over left and right) It took her about 6 months to find her way to and from Doctors and Chemists in front street Stanley (approx 3/4 miles 2 right turns, a left and one zebra crossing ) . It is a major deal for me that i have all my medication on time and Taylors always ensures this. How did i find Taylors? Well my carer would go to a chemist for my prescription but not all the medication would be there(ie out of 100 tablets only 50 would be in stock), she would come back and say i have to go back tomorrow for the rest. She'd go back and no medication , sometimes 4 times in a week.I mentioned something like i can phone to see if they have them before you go, but her reply was near enough , no they said they will definately be there ( another difficulty with my carer is that she believes what shes told by professional people , advertisments etc).She would come back and be angry when they wern't there and she just couldn't understand why, not a nice atmosphere either . So i'd change Chemists but similar occurences. Finally there was a shortage of Naproxen to none at all, I tried everywhere I knew to obtain them , none. I phoned my doctors and explained my Naproxen Dilemma(Stanley Medical Centre also fantastic Staff ) .The receptionist i spoke to said i think Taylors have them , where's Taylors i asked, "South Moor" she replied and even gave me the phone number. I phoned and sure enough they had Naproxen and they could deliver as well. Everytime i've spoken to any of the Staff (Past experiences have made me anxious regarding receiving my medication, so i phone to check, but less so now) they've always been polite, courteous and patient. We can also have your repeat prescriptions automatically and electronically sent to and from the Medical Centre by ourselves Taylors explained to me.I can remember thinking to myself hmm sounds brilliant and it would help me so much all my medication inc delivery. I've tried to describe the best i can how and why this the best Chemists/Pharmacy in my opinion, in my area for me, so another big thank you Taylors. I used to constantly wonder with other Chemists will all my medication be there and available . Now because of Taylors i no longer have that doubt, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
