With a commitment to community healthcare we have steadily grown to 63 pharmacies, still concentrated in South Yorkshire with over 600 trained staff including over 80 pharmacists, 9 of who are clinical pharmacists. We have had an internet presence since 1998.
In recognition of our commitment to employee development and ultimately customer service we were the first independent pharmacy in the UK to be awarded the 'Investor in People' (IIP) standard in 1993. In 1994 our training programme for Pharmacist Assistants achieved 'National Training Award' recognition. We are current holders of ISO 9001: 2008, having initially achieved the ISO Standard in 2001.
Our ongoing commitment to staff development ensures the Weldricks team are able to provide exceptional healthcare advice and service both to our local and online communities. While our aim is not to make any mistakes we recognise they will happen occasionally. When they do we commit to communicate with our customer, do our best to put the problem right, then identify the cause of the error and learn from it.
Listing over 8,000 health and beauty products and prescription medicines, it is our aim to meet your needs in a professional manner.
Our on-line service is supervised by fully qualified pharmacists. All medicine sales are authorised and checked before being despatched to you. If necesssary we may contact you to ask further questions and ensure that the medicine is suitable for you. Our on-line customer service team are available to give professional healthcare advice in a confidential environment either by email or telephone.

I have been using this pharmacy a while now and i can not thank the staff enough for all the help they have provided, especially the supervisor, she goes above and beyond, very knowledgeable at her job, if shes not helping you personally she will be tjere in the background supporting the staff to help. She is a credit to the business. Thank you for everything. Every time I came through that Pharmacy door, all the ladies receiving me with the kind smiles on their Faces. It make me feel better, even if I am sad or sick. The staff are very competent on their jobs, and serving, and providing you the best treatment. When it comes to prescriptions, you don't need to wait much longer than 5 minutes. so, for me its the very healthy environment to visit often. I have used this pharmacy for years and have had good visits and bad suits. I cannot praise the pharmacist and supervisor of the store enough. They are experienced and knowledgeable and can help with any questions and give great advice. The level of service is great at this store but sadly drops when the above two members of staff are not around. I agree with other reviewers comments about waiting times and not being spoken to straight away but I feel this is because of the strange layout of the store having two desks acessable to the public. Most pharmacy’s the staff are working further back in the store and are dealing with medications not customers. I think impatient people need to realise they are busy but again maybe having more staff and a greater would help.
