Excellent service.

Ashby Pharmacy have been filling my prescriptions for years now. Since they have gone from Lloyds to Ashby the level of service has improved. Every month the pharmacy calls my Dr orders my prescription, then sends a driver to collect it from the surgary as it can’t be electronically sent due to the type of meds I’m on, once that is done they order the meds they don’t keep in stock for the next day and send me a message when they are ready to collect. If any problems occur with my prescription, the pharmacy either calls me to explain the problem (if i have to get back in contact with gp) or recifies the problem if they can. A recent example of this was when the staff ordered my prescription as normal and picked up the prescription from the Drs one month. As they were filling out my prescription they realised that there was two different addresses on my green slips. One was my address and one was a mistake made by the Drs. The staff rang me up to confirm my address explaining the error to me by the end of the phone call all was sorted and I could go collect my meds. This was because the staff were happy to act on my behalf and confirm with my Drs that it was an error and not infact a change of address. The staff there are alway’s very professional and friendly, they are happy to discuss your needs and help in anyway they can. If like me you are a regular you will find that you don’t even have to give your name. The staff spot you walk through that door and head straight for your prescription if they can. If they are busy they acknowledge you’re there usually by saying something along the lines of hello, we will be with you in a minute followed by your name. Ashby Pharmacy take the stress out of ordering your meds and I would recommend them to everyone.
