My script somehow ended up at this pharmacy. I have always used one of the other chemists in the village and use EPS service to get my medicines electronically sent there. Both myself and the staff were confused when I went to collect my meds as they were not available as the script had not arrived there from the doctors. I knew I had ordered it 5 days previously so called the surgery as I needed the medicines. I was cross with the doctor as I though they had not sent the prescription the my pharmacy. I was informed that they had issued it 4 days ago and it should be at the pharmacy.so I went back but was still told that it definitely was not there. I was very frustrated and confused. The assistant , was also confused. She then checked where I was ' nominated to only to discover that it was Alsager Pharmacy.I asked why this was but the assistant could not offer an explanation other than to tell me that it was my choice as to where the script went and she could re assign me to Well. I said that this was what I wanted and couldn't understand why it had changed.i then had to go to Alsager Pharmacy to collect my medicines as it was already there. When I asked them how my script had ended up with them they just said I must have asked for it to go to them. I DID NOT! The man was difficult about giving me back the prescription. I have herd similar stories from other people that this pharmacy has received prescriptions from people who have had their nominations changed without their knowledge.
