Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

Waited nearly 1 hr to pick up prescription that was already done ..just as well I checked the bag before I left as half of it was missing so had to wait another half hour . .also they owed me from November prescription which they still didn't have...

Been trying for 3 hours to get an answer as to whether my prescription is ready.they were so late getting my prescription 2 months ago I lost a month's worth of my nourishment drinks.and the woman chemist blamed me and told me I must've got my prescription from another chemist!even the girl behind me in the cue was just as confused as me.probably the worst chemist in newport.

This is the worst run chemist in newport an absolute shambles . All the staff do is talk and keep you waiting . Nobody gives you a time frame. I was waiting 20 mins just to hand over a script even though there was only 1 other person in the shop and still I wasn't served . A complete lack of professionalism. I will not be using this place ever again and my doctors are next door .
