After an ultra scan & hysteroscopy including biopsy examination (which was handled very well by a very experienced surgeon and was virtually painless), I underwent a hysterectomy with BSO in Oct 2021. The gynaecologist was very professional, straight talking and answered all my questions. I did not want any form of spinal pain medication during the surgery and this was taken into account. The operation was arranged within 2 weeks of my diagnosis. The whole operation was handled very efficiently. The surgeon was first class and so were all the supporting team including the nurses on the aftercare ward. I would definitely recommend KIMS hospital at Maidstone to all of friends and colleagues, especially the surgeon.
