Apr 4 2023 Arrived at hospital at 12.15 for minor surgery for carpal tunnel, After being shown my room and being assessed I’ve been left to wait for over 5hrs with no communication from ward nurses or even asked if I would like a drink. After my partner seeks out a nurse I was then told that my operation will be between 5 and 6 o’clock, not the answer I was expecting to get from private health care. This has left with no confidence in the st edmunds hospital, there seems to be little or no time structure for the day ahead as all patients are admitted at 12.15, People with medical conditions are prioritised first leaving people with no medical history to the bottom of the list, This whole experience has heightened my anxiety leaving me feeling that I can not trust health care whether, private or nhs. The main reason for me going private was because I thought ild get a better experience this is clearly not the case.

Oct 22 2022 I am overwhelmed by the care received during my stay at St Edmunds hospital. From pre assessment to discharge the staff have been caring, professional and very reassuring. I was very apprehensive about my procedure, but with the support from the staff they put my mind at ease and made the experience very positive. I can not recommend this hospital enough, my room and the facilities were spotless, the staff are outstanding and the food and refreshments are lovely. 5 stars all round!!

Jul 26 2022 I had cataract surgery to my Left eye ( Feb 2021 ) which I was very pleased with, the quality of Care, Friendliness, and Attention was better than expected as i was a NHS patient. So I was back ( July 2022 )for the same procedure to my Right eye, yet again I cannot fault the treatment I received. Many thanks to all the staff involved.
