I checked in for a total knee replacement on 1st march 2023 ,i didnt know what to expect at all,was met by very friendly staff,who couldn't do enough for me,the private room was fantastic the staff superb,the food was delicious and i was made to feel very welcome the surgeon (Professor Patel)was absolutely outstanding,very polite a great sense of humour and the best thing of all was that he listened to what you said and took pride in his work a very likable surgeon. All the staff in the theatre were attentive, very professional and lovely people too who knew what they were doing,I have since been walking on crutches nk pain at all,am taking less medication than before and feel so happy to have anymore kinds of surgery i may need in.the future, the staff look after you 100% a very very nice place to be at and cared for

I naturally went in for my operation anxious and worried, I need not have worried. From the friendly porter taking me to my room. The treatment I got was the best practice I have ever had. So from the orthopaedic surgeon, anaesthetic consult, sister who looked after me from a nursing perspective, pre assessment staff, housekeeping , physio, theatre and recovery staff.To all the members of staff at The Lancaster Hospital Meadowside. Thank you so much for your care and attention. So 5 stars. Thanks again.
