The Grove

The Grove Nursing Home is a privately run Nursing and Care home situated in the Rosegrove area of Burnley.& The Grove prides itself on offering a friendly care environment whilst practising a high standard of care.& The surroundings are light, spacious and extremely comfortable with an emphasis on friendliness and efficiency.

The Grove is a dual registered home providing nursing care for the elderly and young disabled, although mainily for the elderly and is fully compliant with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission.& In addition the home is independently assessed to ensure the home&s fully compliant status.& Lancashire County Council has recently awarded the home with the certificate for End of Life Care Program for Nursing.& The home has a number of Champions qualified in End of Life and Dementia Care.

Manager Claire Tighe a registered General Nurse with many years& experience in managing care homes is responsible for the day to day running of the home. &

The Grove caters for up to 38 residents with a variety of physical and mental support needs with qualified staff who are on hand 24 hours a day. The home offers care at all levels from nursing, residential, respite, palliative, convalescence and day care.

All bedrooms are individually decorated single rooms with private washing facilities and residents are encouraged to bring their own personal items to make it feel like home.& There are three lounges and a lovely dining room where residents are encouraged to get together for meals.& The home also boasts a large bright air-conditioned conservatory used for regular activities and entertainment.

Our gardens are private and get plenty of sunshine, with patios, lawns, a greenhouse and raised growing beds for those with green fingers.

All residents have their own personal care plan, with staff on hand day and night for any problems.& Medication, nutritional needs and other personal services are tailored for every individual.
