They encourage independence as far as possible. As a visitor I enjoy the activities which seem well tailored to residents needs. They do their best to get Dad up and dressed each day but respect his wishes on his routine. We are very impressed by the low turnover of staff. It is very welcoming to see regular staff who we recognise and who recognise us and who understand Dads needs.

Heaton House provides a small, quiet environment where Mum can rest peacefully. All staff are extremely caring, always engaging with Mum positively through laughing, joking, hugging her etc. There are lots of things to keep the residents busy. Since moving here Mums health and wellbeing have improved significantly. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for her and they treat Mum like family. This gives me peace of mind. It is almost one on one and I highly recommend Heaton House to anyone.
