Aug 6 2018 my Mother was transferred her from another care facility in Carlisle. The contrast has been startling ! The ethos, environment, care, staff commitment and nursing here are excellent and the change in my mum’s demeanour and mindset in relation to this transfer has been marked. Whilst she knows her decline cannot be stopped, mum has relaxed and begun to look at how the time she has left can become a time fior family love and togetherness without the fear of pain and the final moment of death. As a family, we always are welcomed and emotionally supported. We are kept well informed on her daily condition by staff. We leave feeling mum is safe, nurtured and in the best of medical hands.
